INTRODUCING ACL HIGH SCHOOL CORNHOLE
Designed for high school students, ACL High School was created for school districts to create a program that will help their students learn to play the sport of cornhole locally within their schools/districts or nationally at the ACL National High School Cornhole Championships where they can win money to be used to develop cornhole programs within their schools and districts. Winning teams could also be eligible to win travel funds for future events.

Now in the fifth year of the National High School Cornhole Championship, the NHSCC crowns the best high school players and teams from around the country. It provides seed money to schools and athletic departments to develop cornhole programs within their district and the open format allows for any size high school to participate. The ACL encourages high schools to integrate cornhole into their physical education classes and to develop clubs, intramural or interscholastic programs.

HOW TO QUALIFY
The NHSCC is an Open event, which means any school can send a team to compete in the event. A High School entry will be for a team of four players (singles and doubles registrations can also be purchased if players do not have enough from one school district). All team members that participate in the NHSCC will need to be from the same High School District or same athletic conference. Players who are home-schooled will use their zoned public high school for eligibility purposes.
Here are the ways to earn a team bid:
- Win a High School Qualifier hosted by a sanctioned ACL Director. Winning doubles team will receive a team bid (for four players from the same school district). Please check the College & High School Registration tab within Event Registration on app.iplayacl.com .
- Players may purchase Singles, Doubles and Team entry.

ELIGIBILITY
To be considered a High School player, you must be enrolled in a high school (either in-person or online), in good academic standing and NOT an ACL Pro. All team members that participate in the NHSCC will need to be from the same High School District or same athletic conference. Players who are home-schooled will use their zoned public high school for eligibility purposes. Proof required to be eligible to compete. ACL Junior Pro players are eligible to compete and former ACL Pros can re-earn eligibility if the Junior Pro Tour was not available at some point in their career. This reinstatement of eligibility is only valid once and not available to any new ACL Pros beginning October 2025.
High School competitions outside of the NHSCC do not have to require players to be from the same district, but any automatic qualifying bids earned to the NHSCC will have to be forfeited or granted to one of the winning players to be used with a different player in the same district.
