THE 2026 ACL TEAMS SEASON

The 2026 ACL Pro Teams season will kick off at the Kansas City Signature Open for competition. At each of the ACL Signature Opens, beginning with Kansas City, there will be a double-elimination tournament involving every team, with the winner getting an automatic bid to the ACL Pro Teams Playoffs at the ACL World Championships.

Each match between teams in the bracket will be a best-two-out-of-three series featuring one singles game, one doubles game, and one tandem doubles game.

ROSTER STRUCTURE

Each ACL Pro Team features a roster of six to ten players, with a balanced mix of men, women, juniors, and senior competitors from the ACL Pro Division. Each team has at least one captain, and may also have a manager.

TRANSACTIONS, WAIVERS & ROSTER MANAGEMENT

Teams may add players to their roster via the waiver wire during the regular season up until the transaction deadline, as long as they do not exceed the 10-player maximum roster limit. Teams may also release players as free agents from the roster.

Players that are released by a team are eligible to be signed by another ACL Pro Team, subject to league transaction rules and roster limits.

Waiver Wire Process

The waiver wire is processed in the reverse order of the current Pro Teams standings, or in the reverse order of the draft order if it is before the first Pro Teams event.

Waiver claims for free agents must be submitted before Monday morning each week at 9:00 a.m. ET, and waiver claims are processed by 12:00 p.m. ET on Wednesday each week.

There is a second waiver processing each week that happens by 12:00 p.m. ET on Friday for those that miss the Monday window.

Trades

Teams may trade players with other teams before the transaction deadline.

There are no protected players in the 2026 season, and all rostered players are eligible to be traded or released.

League Oversight

The ACL Commissioner may veto any trade or transaction at any time to maintain integrity of the season.

The transaction deadline is two weeks after the Sunday of the third ACL Pro Signature event. After this time, no trades can be processed and no players can be released from the roster.

In the event that there is a discrepancy on lineups, roster additions, player releases, or trades, the ACL Commissioner has the ultimate authority.
