ACL Mic Check: The Search for the Next Great Cornhole Commentator

The ACL “Mic Check: The Search for the Next Great Cornhole Commentator” Contest (the “Contest”) is sponsored by the American Cornhole League, LLC (“ACL” or “Sponsor”).
By participating in the Contest, each entrant fully and unconditionally agrees to and accepts these Official Rules and the decisions of Sponsor, which are final and binding.
1. ELIGIBILITY
The Contest is open to legal residents of the United States who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry.
Employees, officers, and directors of Sponsor, its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising or promotion agencies, production partners, and immediate family members (spouse, parent, sibling, child) or household members of each are not eligible to participate.
The Contest is void where prohibited by law.
2. CONTEST PERIOD
The Contest will run during the following periods:
Submission Period:
March 20, 2026 at 12:00 a.m. ET – June 8, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. ET
Callback Review Period:
June 8, 2026 – June 27, 2026
Finalist Competition:
July 27, 2026 – August 2, 2026 at the ACL World Championships
Winner Announcement:
Expected mid-August 2026
Sponsor reserves the right to modify the schedule at its sole discretion.
3. HOW TO ENTER
To enter the Contest:

Visit the official submission form on the ACL website.
-
Complete the entry form with all required information.
-
Upload a video submission demonstrating your cornhole commentary abilities.
Video guidelines may include:
-
Commentary over a cornhole match or highlight
-
Original commentary performance
-
Any other format that showcases the entrant’s broadcast ability
Additional guidelines:
-
Video length must not exceed 3 minutes.
-
File format must comply with instructions on the submission page.
-
Submissions must be original work created by the entrant.
Limit one (1) entry per person unless otherwise permitted by Sponsor.
Entries must be received during the Submission Period to be eligible.
4. SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS
By submitting an entry, the entrant represents and warrants that:

The submission is original and created by the entrant.

The entrant owns all rights to the submission.
-
The submission does not infringe any copyright, trademark, privacy, or publicity rights of any third party.
-
The submission does not contain offensive, defamatory, unlawful, or inappropriate material.
Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any submission that it determines, in its sole discretion, violates these requirements or these Official Rules.
5. JUDGING AND SELECTION OF FINALISTS
Entries will be reviewed by a panel selected by Sponsor.
Submissions will be judged based on criteria that may include:

Commentary style and delivery
-
Creativity and personality
-
Knowledge of cornhole and the ACL
-
Entertainment value
-
Broadcast potential
At the conclusion of the judging process, a group of finalists will be selected and invited to participate in the final round of the competition at the ACL World Championships.
The number of finalists will be determined at Sponsor’s discretion.
Sponsor’s decisions regarding judging and selection are final and binding.
6. FINALIST COMPETITION
Selected finalists will be invited to participate in a live or recorded commentary challenge during the ACL World Championships (July 27 – August 2, 2026).
Finalists may be required to:

Provide live commentary
-
Participate in interviews or media segments
-
Perform additional broadcast-related challenges
Finalists must comply with all instructions provided by Sponsor in order to remain eligible.
7. PRIZES
Finalist Prize
Each finalist will receive:
-
Lodging for up to three (3) nights during the ACL World Championships.
Approximate Retail Value (ARV) of lodging will vary.
Travel, meals, transportation, and any other expenses not specifically listed are the responsibility of the finalist unless otherwise determined by Sponsor.
Winner Prize
One (1) winner will receive:
-
An opportunity to enter into a commentary contract with the American Cornhole League to commentate at three (3) or more events during the 2026–2027 ACL season.
Important notes:
-
The commentary role is subject to execution of a separate contract with ACL.
-
Terms, compensation, scheduling, and responsibilities will be determined by ACL.
-
The winner must successfully pass any onboarding requirements determined by ACL.
Prize is non-transferable and may not be substituted except at Sponsor’s discretion.
8. WINNER NOTIFICATION
Potential finalists and the winner will be notified using the contact information provided during entry.
If a selected entrant:

Cannot be contacted,
-
Fails to respond within the required timeframe,
-
Declines the opportunity, or
-
Is found to be ineligible,
Sponsor may select an alternate entrant.
9. PUBLICITY RELEASE
By entering the Contest, entrants grant Sponsor the right to use their:
-
Name
-
Image
-
Voice
-
Likeness
-
Biographical information
-
Submitted video
for promotional, advertising, marketing, and editorial purposes related to the Contest or the ACL without additional compensation, unless prohibited by law.
10. LICENSE TO SUBMISSIONS
By submitting an entry, entrants grant ACL a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, edit, distribute, display, and create derivative works from the submission in connection with:

Contest promotion
-
ACL marketing and social media
-
Broadcast or digital programming
Entrants retain ownership of their submission but grant ACL the above license.
11. GENERAL CONDITIONS
Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the Contest if fraud, technical failures, or any other factor impairs the integrity or proper functioning of the Contest.
Sponsor also reserves the right to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process or violates these Official Rules.
12. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
By entering, participants agree to release and hold harmless Sponsor, its affiliates, partners, and employees from any claims arising from participation in the Contest or acceptance or use of any prize.
Sponsor is not responsible for:

Lost, late, or incomplete entries
-
Technical failures
-
Unauthorized human intervention
-
Errors in judging or administration of the Contest
13. GOVERNING LAW
The Contest and these Official Rules shall be governed by the laws of the State of South Carolina, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
